Our reservation only experiences introduce guests to a remarkable variety of animal ambassadors. From Bubbles the African elephant to chimpanzees, wolves, monkeys, and exotic cats, our wild family offers plenty to discover. Our Wild Encounters Tours offer an immersive introduction to Myrtle Beach Safari. Guests enjoy a guided walking adventure filled with hands on experiences, stories from our team, and opportunities to learn about the animals who call the preserve home.
An up close encounter can turn curiosity into a lasting interest in wildlife. Watching an animal’s behavior and discovering its individual personality makes learning about its species even more memorable.

One of our newest additions, the Capybara Café, offers a relaxed way to spend time with the world’s largest rodents.
This dedicated experience is the only way to interact with our capybaras at Myrtle Beach Safari. Guests can feed them treats, observe their charming personalities, and have photographs taken throughout their visit.
With refreshments and a slower pace, the Capybara Café is a wonderful choice for anyone who wants to make these fascinating animals the focus of their day.
Curious about Myrtle Beach Safari but not quite ready for a full tour? Our Safari Lodge Photo Encounter offers a brief introduction through a memorable animal photo session.
This shorter experience brings guests together with a selection of animal ambassadors for special photographs without committing to the full safari. It takes place at the Safari Lodge and does not include a tour of the preserve. Animals you'll meet include a monkey, a caracal and a wolf!
Digital photographs are included, giving you a collection of keepsakes from your visit.
